Roman Armor - Lorica Segmentata - Historically Accurate Digital Pattern

The Lorica Segmentata is a LEGENDARY piece of Roman armor history, worn by thousands of roman soldiers. Designed to be mass-produced, flexible to a fault, and very easily fit to the wearer, this armor set was the king of armors back in the day! 

This pattern can be used for almost ANY sheet-based medium. Leather, Steel, Aluminum, TITANIUM, etc.! It is strictly based on the pattern meant for Steel, but as you can see, I've made it out of 10-12oz leather, and it is turning out perfectly. 

The pattern I have for you is a labor of love. I offer it here to help spread the joy, as there is only ONE other digital pattern out there (the remnants of which can be seen in this pattern for reference). 

If you see anything lacking in my design, or wish to ask ANY question at all, please tell me! At this point I am intimately familiar with the armor itself (not the history of it, unfortunately), so I'm happy to make changes to this pattern!
